Olga Kalinchenko, Senior Consultant of Alliance Legal CG Legal Department Olga Kalinchenko in her speech commented on the review of judicial practice approved by the Presidium of the Supreme Court of the Russian Federation on July 19, 2017, which contains analysis of the most common legal problems that have come to the Supreme Court from different regions of Russia.

Olga also shared specific examples from her practice of protecting the interests of investors (equity holders). Based on her experience, she came to the conclusion that when considering disputes between developers and equity holders, courts prefer the interest holders. However, in cases of explicit manifestations of consumer extremism, courts have recently begun to reduce the amount of penalties or even reject suits.
