NOTS MSAL -Scientific and Educational Center for the Application of Criminal Law

The main objectives:

• scientific advisory support of activities in criminal proceedings;
• applied implementation of the results of criminal law research into the activities of business entities in order to minimize its criminal law risks;
• the use of the achievements of criminal law in the implementation of effective protection for various categories of criminal cases.

The head of the Center is Honored Scientist of the Russian Federation, Doctor of Law, Professor Mr. Alexei Rarog, and the staff consists of professors, doctors of law: Mr. Ivan Klepitsky, Mr. Samvel Kochoi and Mrs. Tatyana  Ponyatovskaya.

The center carries out research, educational, expert advisory and research and promotional activities in the field of criminal law, as well as on other issues arising during criminal proceedings.

Specialists of Alliance Legal CG regularly participate in various scientific and educational events aimed at integrating science and practice in the field of criminal law, which are conducted by the NOTS.

Criminal cases: procedural issues.

The conference was devoted to discussing issues arising in the implementation of judicial, human rights, law enforcement and expert activities in criminal proceedings.

Leading scientists in the field of criminal law and process, representatives of law enforcement and other government agencies, well-known lawyers spoke as experts.

Criminal Law: a Development Strategy in the 21st Century

Alliance Legal CG is the official partner of the International Scientific and Practical Conference "Criminal Law: a Development Strategy in the 21st Century", organized on the basis of the Moscow Law Academy on O. E. Kutafina.

Criminal law workshop “Criminal trends: search for qualifications”

The old manor house of Meshchersky-Buturlin (XVIII - XIX centuries), designed by the famous architect Kazakov M.F., with the interior in classicism style in modern times is not only an object of cultural heritage, but also the “House of Science” of  Moscow State Law Academy. O.E. Kutafina, where on December 7 the criminal law workshop “Criminal trends: search for qualifications” was hold.

It was in this solemn atmosphere where the lawyers were practicing in the field of criminal law, discussing practical issues arising in human rights and law enforcement in connection with the qualification of certain types of crimes.

The expert from Alliance Legal CG was Marina Podvarkova, a criminal lawyer.

Criminal Bankruptcies

November 23, 2018 Alina Manina (Paltseva) - Deputy Managing Partner, Head of Bankruptcy Support Practice, spoke at the conference "Criminal Bankruptcies" with the topic "Delineation of criminal and permissible. Criminal law risks of behavior" on the verge of "in a controlled bankruptcy procedure."

X Joint Russian-German round table discussion. Transformations in the economic sphere: Russian and European experience

Presentation of the opening of the Scientific and Educational Center (structural subdivision of the Moscow State Law University named after O. Kutafin (MSLA) "and the presentation at the event" Joint Russian-German round table on the topic "Crimes in the economic sphere: Russian and European experience".

At the opening of the Round Table, the presentation of NOTS was made by Mr. Rarog Alexey (head of the NOTS, doctor of law, professor, honored worker of science of the Russian Federation), Mr. Sinyukov Vladimir, vice-rector for scientific work of the University named after N. O. E. Kutafina, Doctor of Law, Professor, Honored Worker of Science of the Russian Federation), as well as Mrs Marina Podvarkova (criminal lawyer of Alliance Legal CG) spoke on behalf of the NOTS partner.

Invited guests from Germany - Mrs. Uwe Hellmann (Head of the Department of Criminal and Economic Law of the University of Potsdam, habilitated Doctor of Law, Professor), Mrs. Diane Stage (Research Associate of the Department of Criminal and Economic Criminal Law of the University of Potsdam, Doctor of Law, Professor) delivered their reports.

In his report, Mr. Grishin Artem highlighted the issues of research and evidence of the facts of deliberate non-payment or incomplete payment of tax amounts in theory and in practice.

Artem began his speech with a quote by French writer and journalist Mr. Pierre Daninos: "You may not notice that everything is going well with you. But the tax service will definitely notice this."
