On November 8, 2018, the II International Conference “Problems of the Protection of Human Rights in the Eurasian Space: Exchange of Best Ombudsmen Practices” was held in Moscow, dedicated to the 70th anniversary of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights and the 25th anniversary of the adoption of the Constitution of the Russian Federation.
On November 8, 2018, the II International Conference “Problems of the Protection of Human Rights in the Eurasian Space: Exchange of Best Ombudsmen Practices” was held in Moscow, dedicated to the 70th anniversary of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights and the 25th anniversary of the adoption of the Constitution of the Russian Federation.
The conference was attended by heads of national human rights institutions, representatives of the United Nations, the Council of Europe, the European Network of the Global Alliance of National Institutions for the Protection of Human Rights, ombudsmen in the constituent entities of the Russian Federation, parliamentarians, as well as representatives of state authorities, the human rights community and the scientific community.
During the event, the participants discussed the provision and promotion of human rights and freedoms in the Eurasian space, and shared suggestions for improving the effectiveness of human rights and legal education activities.
The conference was attended by Dmitry Stanislavovich Fesko, Partner, Chairman of the Supervisory Board of Alliance Legal CG and Valery V. Chernikov, Doctor of Law, Professor, Honored Lawyer of the Russian Federation, Leading Expert of the Scientific Advisory Board of Alliance Legal CG.
