"Kommersant" published the fourth annual rating of the legal services market. The purpose of the rating is to provide customers with legal services with a "road map" of the market, which is structured according to the possible needs of business, investors and individuals. Every year, the organizers improve the methodology, so that the rating serves as a quality navigator for the selection of leading providers of legal services.
The methodology is as follows:
- the rating is divided into three categories of nominations: "Best legal practice", "Best industry practices" and "Leading lawyers".
- the rating is the result of research of data from confidential and open sources.
- the period of study of practices of law firms when compiling a rating for one calendar year, from January 1, 2017 to December 31, 2017.
One of the key tasks of the rating is to reflect the best law firms in certain categories of legal services. For this purpose, nominations were provided that reflect the specifics of business in certain sectors of the economy and the specifics of legal problems of a different nature. This allows you to include in the ranking not only the largest law firms, but also small service providers that provide the leading service in its segment or field of practice.
